CAPE Physio has a walk-in clinic located in the Marama Suite on the ground floor at The Hastings Health Centre and a full clinic across the road at 405 King Street North, Hastings that can take appointments.
CAPE is an ACC accredited physio service treating and rehabilitating a large range of musculoskeletal and sports injuries.
ACC Consultations are $15 per visit (adults) and $10 per visit (students and children). Non-ACC visits are $55. At CAPE we will assess your injury and develop a full treatment package with advice on pain management and how to manage your injury.

Hawkes Bay Skin
Hawke Bay has high levels of skin cancer. Early detection and treatment is the key.
We provide a comprehensive skin cancer service from skin examinations/mole mapping through to complex surgical excisions.
Dr Lloyd Peterson is an accredited skin cancer doctor with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia and holds their diplomas in Dermatoscopy (distinction) and Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery. He operates a skin clinic at the Hastings Health Centre and the Scott Clinic on Southland Road, Hastings. He is also Southern Cross accredited (at the Scott Clinic).

David gained his Diploma in Podiatry in 1986 and has been dealing with work complaints for the past 30 years. He spent his first three years working in Australia, gaining experience working in private practice, hospitals and Community Health Centres. He then completed a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours through The University of Brighton in England.
While fixing feet might not be for everyone, David finds it a very satisfying career.
Podiatrist David Greenhill treats a number of common foot complaints such as corns, callouses, heel and arch pain, ingrowing toenails, children’s foot conditions, arthritic and diabetic foot disorders and sports injuries. Sudhindra Rao – Orthopaedic Surgeon
BSc, MBChB (Otago), FRACS (Ortho), FNZOA
Currently practicing at Royston hospitals, Sudhindra (Sud) Rao is now running his consulting rooms out of the Ngahere suite on the first floor.
He graduated from Otago University with Microbiology (BSc) and Medical MBChB) degrees, and prior to moving to Hawkes Bay in 2001, Sud was an Orthopaedic Consultant at Wanganui (1 year) and Wellington Hospital (10 years).
His current clinical practice includes all aspects of clinical assessment and management of adult and paediatric orthopaedic disorders, with sub-specialty interests that include hip and knee primary arthroplasty, paediatric orthopaedics and spinal disorders.
Sud has also served in senior governance roles for the NZ Orthopaedic Association and as Senior Examiner in Orthopaedics for The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. Alongside his private practice, he is a faculty member of The Pacific Island Orthopaedic Association which educates and trains Orthopaedic Surgeons in the Pacific Islands.
