Dr. Karen Irwin
School-based clinic GP
Karen has been working as a GP for some 20+ years in both health centre and school-based settings. She is interested in all aspects of general practice, including minor surgical procedures for skin cancers, joint injections and gynaecological procedures, such as jadelle insertion. Enjoying the proactive role of general practice, Karen works together with her patients offering a manageable, realistic approach to health and disease that provides the best outcome for that person.
Family is incredibly important, so time away from work is spent enjoying and supporting her children, whether that be on the side line of a sports field or tending to the animals with her husband.
