Carina Lack joined the Hastings Health Centre in Early March 2022 as our new CEO. Carina is Hawke’s Bay born and bred, starting out her career as a pharmacist. She has worked in quality, planning, project management, operational management.

Providing care to all members of the family is what Andrew enjoys most about general practice.  Before studying medicine at Edinburgh University, Andrew spent a year abroad working as a teacher in Zimbabwe.  In later years, after moving to New Zealand, he would get to follow his passion for teaching but this time as a Clinical Senior Lecturer at Wellington School of Medicine.  “I am passionate about medical education, teaching registrars, training interns and house officers” – all of which is done at the Hastings Health Centre.

Fiona Gee

Fiona is the Finance Manager at The Hastings Health Centre.  She comes from a background in auditing and financial services, and has been with the Health Centre for 12 years, and progressed into the role of Finance Manager.

In her spare time Fiona is kept busy with outdoor activities and cheering her four teenage children on at their representative sporting commitments.
