CAPE Physio has a clinic located in the Marama Suite on the ground floor at The Hastings Health Centre and a full clinic across the road at 405 King Street North, Hastings that can take appointments.
CAPE is an ACC accredited physio service treating and rehabilitating a large range of musculoskeletal and sports injuries.
ACC Consultations are $25 per visit (adults) and $20 per visit (students and children). Non-ACC visits are $90. At CAPE we will assess your injury and develop a full treatment package with advice on pain management and how to manage your injury.

Dr Leigh Duncan Gynaecology
We have a full service gynaecology clinic. We are able to provide diagnosis and treatment for fibroids, endometriosis, menstrual disorders, peri and post-menopausal complaints and hormone replacement therapy.
Dr Leigh Duncan who manages the clinic is qualified to provide treatment for early pregnancy problems, recurrent miscarriages, fitting contraceptive devices, tubal ligation, hysteroscopy as well as postnatal injury or trauma. Nettie is happy to answer any questions about the services Leigh provides. Appointments for the Gynaecology clinic can be made by calling Nettie in the Waimoana Suite on (06) 873 8590. A referral from a Clinician is required to be seen.

Family Violence Programme
The Hastings Health Centre is a safe place to talk about family violence. Our Family Violence Programme was introduced in 2008 in order to continue to provide our patients with holistic care and protect their physical and mental wellbeing. Our family doctors and nurses have been trained to recognise the signs of family violence through asking the right questions. Our programme is supported by the Hawke’s Bay Primary Health Organisation and the Hawke’s Bay District Health Board. If you are suffering from abuse our staff are able to support, advise you of your options and can refer you to the right agency for your protection. If you would like to seek help or are worried about a family member, you can talk in confidence to a family doctor, nurse or support person.
Perpetrators
If you are hurting the people you love and need help to stop we can give you information for agencies in our community that will help. You will be provided with this information and our support and will not be judged.

Our Fracture clinic runs 3 days a week with a late night service every other Wednesday and can manage any acute fractures or musculoskeletal injuries with minimal wait times to both casual and enrolled patients.
Our clinic is led by a team of Doctors and nurses with an advanced skill set in Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal medicine. Our nurses are skilled at plaster application. We have a wide range of casting colours and are the only place in Hawke’s Bay where you can have glitter on your cast!
The clinic is supported by our experienced on-site radiology service which means expert treatment and X-rays without the need to visit the hospital.
We are able to treat most types of fractures and musculoskeletal problems; however more serious cases will be discussed and referred appropriately to the Orthopaedic team at Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
Throughout your treatment the team will communicate with your GP ensuring they are well informed and able to assist where necessary with recovery.
Appointments for the Fracture Clinic are made through a referral from a GP or through Urgent Care.

He operates a skin clinic at the Hastings Health Centre and the Scott Clinic on Southland Road, Hastings. He is also Southern Cross accredited (at the Scott Clinic).

Our immigration medical service is professionally and competitively priced.
Immigration Medicals
We provide a full New Zealand Immigration Medical Service at The Hastings Health Centre at very competitive rates. We aim to provide a high quality, friendly, and efficient service.
Immigration medicals are completed online and we submit the medical information for you. They are called eMedicals. At the time of your medical we will provide you with your NZER number to submit to Immigration NZ so they can retrieve the health information we submit.

If Immigration have given you a reference number (eg HR123456) phone the surgery on 06 873 8513 to make your booking. If not, please complete the online form below.
If you would like to complete a medical, please complete the online form below and print, sign and scan the declaration form back to us at immigration@hhc.co.nz. If you are unable to scan the declaration form then you can bring it with you to your appointment instead.
Staff will email you within 3- 4 working days with your appointment details. Please do not ring us for an appointment time if you have already submitted a form to request an appointment.
Bring your passport with you when you come and to all appointments. We take a passport photo of you before or at the time of your appointment to attach to your medical.
We will arrange an appointment for the medical examination, blood tests and chest X ray if required.

Our sexual health service covers all contraception services, treatment of STIs (sexually transmitted infections) and pregnancy testing.
This service also covers cervical smears, jadelle insertion , depo provera injections and the morning after pill.

The Hastings Health Centre’s Urgent Care service is your one stop ‘walk in’ medical and health care service.
Urgent Care Clinic is our walk in accident and medical healthcare service.
No appointment is needed. Urgent Care is open seven days a week from 8am to 8pm including public holidays and is available to anyone including visitors to Hawkes Bay.
Every patient is triaged by a nurse on arrival to help with assessing priority of treatment. Our department is CORNERSTONE Accredited and meets NZ Urgent Care 2015 Standards and ACC benchmarks.
